Wii Sports + Wii Sports Resort

Hello, I recently bought a new Wii (4.3E, now softmodded using BootMii etc. including Priiloader and running USB Loader GX), to replace my faulty/dead one.

The new Wii came with Wii Sports + Sports resort on one disk

Is there any way to separate the two games, so that I can boot them individually when using USB Loader GX?

    Thanks in advance

    Cheers

You may be able to, I doubt it though. I would guess that the work involved would be a lot more difficult that just ripping the game. Wii Sports is not eating up a lot of your disc space, maybe .5gb??

Ok, I've copied the disk to the HDD through USB loader.

But, when I select Sports Resort, the Wii reboots and goes back to the system menu

    Any ideas?

It is a motion plus game, you have to watch the video once to get it to work. Since you have the retail disc still, just pop it in and launch sports resort. Watch the instructional video about the motion plus and then it should work via usb loading after that.

Ok, I've watched the 4 part video and then returned to the game.

Then, I've loaded USB loader and started the game. I get to the selection screen and select Sports Resort but it reboots and goes back to the system menu

I think you have to make sure you create a save file as well. Create a mii (if you don't have one already), get into the game with the disc and at least get to the point when you're on the ground. Then try it with the loader.

is your loader up to date? maybe a syscheck too? That game does have a guide but it is really pertaining to the need to watch the video.

Ok, so I've remodded my Wii (following the Hack any Wii guide on this forum) and its now sorted.

Guess I was a bit outdated as used my previous mod files

    Thanks for all the help
