Hi all i'm a noob to all this soft modding, i managed to do my lads wii no proplem. Then my friend found out what i'd done and then brought his roud for me to do he's was on 3.4e i've followed the guide i've messed up some where cause i've bricked it and like an idiot i've not got a nand, but can still get into boot mii, hbc and even the preloader menu can some one help please i dont fancy buy him a new wii for xmas and me having a pretty looking door stop. many thanx in advance

What guide did you use? What happens when you try to exit to the system menu? Was there an update firmware part in the tutorial you used? Did bootmii install as boot2 or an ios? A little more info would be helpful.

sorry for being vague but this is whats happened to me. I got all the way to step 4 of (Dogeggs guide) where it says its optional to update to 4.1 just skip so i did. Then caried on with the final step then in preloader menu it didn't work there was nothing i could enable or disable, and now i'm stuck yeh it was 3.4e and yeh i installed it as boot2 not ios many thanx

I see that Tealc is working with you in your other thread. He seems to be the master of bricks around here so I'll step down and let him take over. Don't get to worked up, it sounds like an easy fix.

Its not a big deal. Just tell your friend you're waiting on advice on your next step. Since you have boot2 that pretty much saves you. There is a tutorial by shadowsonic in the bricked wiis forum on what to do if you have boot2 but no nad backup. That would work but I bet there is a simple solution. But if nothing else you have that guide. Tealc has saved many wiis from what I've seen so I'd wait for his advice. Boot2 can save 99 percent of all bricks so take a few breaths. Its not dead.
