Sony has officially announced its iPad tablet rivals, the Sony Tablet S1 and the Nintendo DS-esque S2.
The tablets will start rolling out in the UK from autumn 2011, starting with the S1, and both carry the PlayStation Certified badge, which means they're able to connect to the PlayStation Suite and run a number of PSOne titles.
The S1 will support Android 3.0, WiFi and 3G and play nicely with Sony's premium network services, including the PlayStation Network for gaming and the Qriocity media service, says Sony.
The S1 will feature a 9.4 inch display and even have the ability to control home entertainment devices, including Sony Bravia TVs.
The S2 meanwhile (that's the one that looks a bit like a DS) comes with two 5.5-inch displays, offering Android 3.0 in a clamshell design.
The S2's two screens will be able to operate together or independently for video, web browsing or email - plus the option to have one screen dedicated to PlayStation controls.
