Priiloader 0.7 Beta 1 released

PriiLoader 0.7 Beta 1 has been released. Download and information on the site.

Please note one change that can cause problems is the hash_hacks.ini is now moved to SD\apps\priiloader, and if you use the classic setting, the hacks.ini file is moved there also.

So does that mean if you have hacks_hash.ini in the root it won't be detected? Moving the location seems like something that could cause a lot of confusion, since everyone is used to having it in the root. :confused:

Yes thats right, if its in the root it won't be deteted. Yes it could cause confusion thats why I mentioned it.

Thanks for confirming though, since there are probably going to be a lot of "HELP! Priiloader can't find hacks!!!" threads if DacoTaco doesn't change it back.

well , i moved it as i realised its
A) cleaner when you open the SD card
B) preloader 0.30 also did it. for some odd reason i moved it with priiloader 0.1...

But now the folder will have to be named "priiloader", but it could be named anything before. I always use the version name in folders so I can tell what it is without opening the meta.xml file. You are also assuming that everyone will install Priiloader from the HBC. While that is almost always the case, there are times when apps need to be installed using methods like cboot2, bannerbomb, or game exploits. I just don't see how there is any real benefit. It seems like the only thing it accomplishes is adding extra steps and extra confusion.

I like it this way. I like every thing to be in its place. Works just as good as the other versions. I hear ya on the version number joostin. Thats the only thing that sucks. But its no different then Snesgx to work with forwarders. I wish it would work on USB. I want so bad to get rid of the SD card.
