I have 4 different ios' of rev 20, and I don't feel the need to update it for the moment, I will just wait until there are wad's available for this one or until I have a problem that requires rev 21.

    Unhappy

I've been looking forward to this release, so I could try and get Triiforce to work again. Successfully installed with 57 as base. But now my Wii cannot find my hard drive. I'm on 4.1U. I reinstalled cIOSx rev20b and everything works fine again, except for Triiforce of course. Any ideas why?
I'm in the middle of modding a different Wii, so I can post a syscheck later.
I'm using 1 fat32 partition on a WD elements 1.5tb hard drive. Also I have darkcorp full v1.1 installed.

I installed 21 base 57 slot 249 and my usb loader works fine. Problem is can't get triiforce to work. I think you are going to have same problem i have. I have always been able to use triiforce on a 1tb or below drive but not on anything bigger. I have a 2tb elements drive that works great on everything else but triiforce. If you find an answer for this, could you please post back and i will do the same. Thanks.

I did some testing with Triiforce. Here is what I've figured out so far.

I have a launch Wii console with system menu 4.1U. I used the Triiforce with USB drive guide that I found on here to get Triiforce working.

When I had cios 17 base 38, everything I tried in Triiforce worked fine.
When I installed cios 21 base 56, Triiforce would load and I could browse the games list, but trying to launch a game resulted in an error which booted me back to the system menu.
With 21 base 38, I can get some games to work fine, but so far I haven't been able to run Mega Man 9 which worked with 17 base 38. Also, Triiforce says I don't have any N64 games, but I played them fine on 17 base38.

    I haven't tried 21 with other bases like 57 or 58.

Can anyone else confirm similar results?

I installed cIOSx rev21 with a base of 38 and my USB HDD is not recognized. So, I also tested bases of 36, 56, 58 and all the same, no recoginze of my Seagate FreeAgent Desk usb hdd, WBFS format. This is the same results I get from the rev20 and rev20b installer. I do not recommend the USB HDD linked above for use with Wii softmods, it's been nothing but trouble. At least cIOS38 rev17 is compatible with it.

I also have a smaller (Seagate 320GB) USB HDD that is a dual partition WBFS/FAT32 used for Wiiware, cIOSx rev21 is compatible with the HDD. I have a small WBFS partition for the ISO forwarders and the rest is FAT32. CFG boots fine, Wiiware does not boot with cIOSx rev21 base of 38 or 36. When I install with a base of 56 or 58 an Error ret -64 is displayed when trying to boot Wiiware, same error that cIOSx rev20 with base of 56 displays.

To me, cIOSx rev21 acts just like cIOSx rev20/20b. Waninkoko must have just added base IOS58 to the rev20 installer and slapped on the rev21 label. I noticed he didn't even bother to change the music.

cIOS38 rev17 is still the most compatible, so I guess I stick with using cIOS38 rev17, and Hermes cIOS's until Waninkoko can fix the issue with my USB HDD and Triiforce.

Thanks Stomp for confirming, my hd must not be compatible with this release. I thought I was doing something wrong.
