Is there somebody who can tell the REAL benefits of this cIOS? With IOS 222/223 v4 and cIOS38 Rev17, what are you missing? I found everything working with this combination so far...

    Thanks

Not much improvement from the little testing I have done. Tried a few Different base IOS for 249 and 250. It breaks Triiforce and ISO forwarders. My games load faster with Rev19 250 or even Hermes 222/223 (Rev 17 would be fine but I am using FAT now). So I am sticking with my Rev17/Rev 19/Hermes Combo for now. Does everything I need it to.
    Damn I suck!!!!

I'll stick with rev17 for the time being. I only left 14 out of curiosity. Never think it's a good idea to update unless it works miracles or if you have a problem. Neat to know though.

For wad install, the instructions are kind of vague, does this mean you can use any version of the IOS for a wad install? In the past, a certain version of the IOS was required.

    - Copy the WAD file of the IOS to be used as base to the root directory of a storage device (SD card or USB device).
I will probably leave cIOS38 rev17 on IOS249 if Triiforce/NAND emulation is broken.

I installed rev20, and it did not freeze at the end.

I can confirm NAND emulation not working with 249 base of 38.

    I can also confirm that
    249 base of 37
    249 base of 38
    249 base of 57
breaks my Seagate FreeAgent Desk (WBFS drive) from being recognized by CFG v57.

EDIT- NeoGamma r9 b32 also doesn't recognize my usb HDD with rev20 installed, and my ears were broken after hearing waninkoko's new favorite song.

And, more broken stuff to come as I do more testing.

Ya the freezing issue went away after I used the "b" installer.

I had no problems getting it to recognize my drive using CFG57b7 or b2. Loaded right up....but when I tried to load an IOS Forwarder I made, it gave me a ret error and then kicked me back to the Wii menu. Upon loading CFG again it would not recognize my drive....very weird. Rebooted and it would recognize it again. Tested with base 36, 38 ,57. I am back to my trusty Wanin/Hermes Combo for now.
    Damn I suck!!!!
