    ★ cIOSX Rev19 Released by Waninkoko ★

    Just released by Waninkoko, rev19 is an attempt to fix some of the bugs from the last revision. Rumors have speculated that Triiforce will see returned functionality along with games like de Blob and MPT which were spouting errors under rev18.

    As with the last release, for those who choose to test this out feel free to report back any bugs you find and I'll add them below.

    ----------------

    ***Special Note: For you MH3 gamers who are using Base37 to get the game running, you should know that doing so will break your IOS249/250's compatibility with Wad Manager.***

    For the most part this cIOS is compatible and stable. Most people like to install using Base IOS38 for its compatibility with Wad Manager. I like using Base IOS57 for increased loading times on my USB backups (only a second or two, if that). Base 37 is good for GH/RB-type games. Base 60 & 70 are not typically used, but the choice is up to you.

    My advice? If it ain't broke...You know the rest.

    ==========
    Downloads
    ==========

    • cIOSX_rev19-Installer.zip - As released by Waninkoko. Choose Network Installation when you run this file (console must have internet access).

    • cIOSX_rev19-fullpack.rar - IOS 37, 38, 57, 60, 70 included for Wad Installation (offline installs), a meta.xml tag, and an icon for HBC.

    ==============
    Reported Issues
    ==============
    (Updated 3/26)

    Apps
    • Wad Manager - Waninkoko recommends using base 38 if you use his Wad Manager. Other base IOS are currently incompatible with this app.
    • YAWMM (Yet Another Wad Manager Mod) - "This will not install fakesigned wads with cIOS249 rev18+ ... unless IOS 38 is used as a base."
    • Crap Forwarders - If it's not working (timeout), then the loader needs to be updated for rev18/19.

    Loadstructor Forwarders
    • An update for cloader has been released. Get it Here.
    • Replace cloader.dol in the Loadstructor 'loaders' folder with the one from the download, then create channels as normal.
    • Credit to redeyed for making the appropriate changes.

    Advanced Users
    If you are a more experienced softmodder and would like to use rev19 with a Base other than 38 yet retain compatibility
    with Wad Manager, see my post here.

    ------------------------------------

    Depends on what you're looking for. Check out the changelog. Some differences from rev14 are DL support and some minor speed increases with usb loaders. The old adage stands that if it ain't broke...

    @Favs No kidding. I mean it's cool that he's trying to improve his code, but some consistency would be nice.
