Talking Blind Man Beats Zelda 64!!!!

WOW!!!! ---- That's all i have to SAY!!!!!

A couple years ago, Verner uploaded some videos of himself playing parts of Zelda 64. On a lark, he asked if anyone would help him finish the entire game. Roy Williams, of Camden, N.C., took on the job with three other gamers, blindfolding themselves and writing down everything they did.

Helping Verner required a script that laid out every single move. “Every time we make a move, we roll, jump, do anything, we type down on the computer exactly what we’re doing,” Williams told a local NBC affiliate. The completed script, for a speedrun of the game, consisted of over 100,000 keystrokes, written in a text file that Verner’s computer would dictate back to him. Beating the game took two years, where a sighted gamer could get through it in about a week. “I felt great. I felt strong. I felt like the sky’s the limit,” Verner said. File this heartwarmer away for the next time someone tells you video games are a worthless, anti-social hobby. (Gamer Crave)

You are certainly fullfilling your role as newshound. It is very much appriciated as this site has become alot more interesting as a result. It also compells ppl who normally would not engage others on the site to do so. Ppl who normally feel they have nothing to contribute to a site that is strictly guides and questions, can now find other things to catch their interests and comment on.

I know it is off topic for your news story, but I felt it needed to be siad.
Sent from my van, down by the river.

Never quantify your life by comparison. It is always going to be apples to oranges. If you feel the need to always look down on others, you currently do not own enough mirrors------ Tommie Griffin.

    Awesome story haha!
Not even kidding, maybe about 11 years ago, there was this blind guy (he was some rapper producer dude) that lived in our apartment complex. We used to hang out there and play with his rad studio setup and one day he challenges us to some Mortal Kombat 3.

Never been beat down so quickly in my life. And the dude couldnt even see the damn screen!!
Guess he figured his way around listening for sounds like when your character throws something or jumps and lands..
He knew right when to block and knew just how much time he had to move in and counter after you did something.
    Just blew me away.
