OK I talked to the guys over at bootmii.org. The only changes made were changing the title ID of the HBC and making it compatible with WiiU. From what they said there are no real changes for the Wii itself. In fact, if you read further along the source page you will see some bug reports. Apparently these were fixed (1.1.1 to 1.1.2). I still wouldnt recommend going to 1.1.2 yet just in case there are more bugs to be found. That is probably why the HBC is not auto-updating on the Wii like it normally does when a new one is released. So, for now I highly suggest staying at 1.1.0.

Thanks for finding out the changes. I went ahead and added them to the HBC changelog over at the WiiBrew wiki (as well as the changes for 1.1.2). Anyway, I installed 1.1.1 right after I read about it and had no issues. I'll probably be updating to 1.1.2 next time I turn my Wii on. But I agree, there isn't really any reason to upgrade unless you just want to have the latest stuff (which is why I upgraded), just stick with 1.1.0.

I can confirm that letterbomb does not work on vwii on wii u. All you get when the big red bomb is clicked from the message board are a page full of question marks.

When the Wii U is in 'classic' mode do the apps benefit from the faster processor, or is everything underclocked? If homebrew apps could tap into the machine's extra horsepower it would be fantastic.
