WiiDriveKey.com Feedback
If you feel so inclined..please leave your feedback experience..so others may read it.
I just got my chip today and although I don't really know too much about electronics it didn't take me more than 15 minutes to disassemble the Wii, insert the chip and reassemble it.
I did insert the cable wrong initially but a quick phone call (which was answered immediately) resolved the issue.
It's awesome and lets me still play my original games as well as the backup's.
The instructions on how to take the wii apart and insert the chip is spot on.
Thanks again

Just placed my order for the DriveKey 3 days ago. The price was very reasonable and it was one of the only places I found that will ship to an APO/FPO box.
However, their support email does not work. Information only goes one way, from them to me, but there is no way for me to ask any questions.
Emails sent to sales @ wiidrivekey.com will just bounce back with a "Delivery Status Notification (Failure)" message.
Nobody seems to respond from wiidrivekey @ hotmail.com either.
I have not tried the Live Phone Support.
I did receive a message today (from sales @ wiidrivekey.com) that my order has shipped. They did not tell me which carrier it is shipped through, but I'm assuming it's Canada Post.
I'll post again once I receive my order.
---
***UPDATE***
According to Canada Post:
2009/08/26 14:44 International shipment has arrived in the destination country
2009/08/25 20:21 International item has left Canada
12:07 SURREY Item accepted at the Post Office
I'll be checking the Post Office on Monday. It says it arrived via Xpresspost

problem is now retified..if you sent an email and got it bounced back...please sent it again

Wii DriveKey arrived today! Package labelled as "package arrived damaged at destination". However, contents appear ok. Probably would have been better shipped with a hard case around the chip. Instead, the package was a thick paper mailer and small amount of bubble wrap.
Getting ready to install. I'll get back here later.
Drivekey installed using instructions on website. Nice. 30 min mod. Easy.
NTSC version Wii not playing PAL version games. ModderMan has provided a [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]. It may work, but if you already have the NTSC version, then why bother too much with the PAL version?
Still getting NTSC games to test out.
Drivekey options menu is nice but cannot make any changes as the Wii remote goes dead once I am in the menu. No biggie as I don't want to make any changes anyway.
** Update after what this n00b has learned from this site, ModderMan and tinkering around with the Wii/Drivekey: **
First discs I used were giving me fits (Fujifilm 16x DVD-R). Found a stack of 50 (Maximum) Princo 16x DVD-R (Made by the same folks who make Ritek, Ridata, Maxell, and Kodak CD/DVDs [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] white printable discs at [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] for about $8 US (¥798) and all NTSC/PAL games now work (except Wii Music After a new download and burn, Wii Music is now working).
Burn at 4x on Mac using Disc Utility. 16x causes some failures.
Drivekey menu works fine. According to ModderMan, don't use the Wii remote, but use the front panel keys to navigate.
Have not tried PAL games again, but will soon. All PAL & NTSC games burn and work perfectly.
Thanks for the phenomenal support ModderMan! I would suggest sending n00b instructions via email to your customers first to alleviate the frustrating questions sure to come .
I wholeheartedly recommend WiiDriveKey.com to all. Expect super fast, totally helpful support from these folks. Well worth your time and $$.

I ordered my Drivekey on Thurs. 9/3.... I hadn't received a shipping notification by Fri. so I contacted them through Live Customer support. They notified me the same day that my order went through but they had no shipping address. I gave it to them and they have since contacted me to let me know my order shipped.
I haven't received my product yet because it's only been a couple of days. But so far, I am happy with the communication.
Thanks Gav..... whoever you might be
I will leave a follow up post once I receive and install the item

I received my DriveKey today and followed the instructional videos on here. Everything went smooth with the installation.
So far no luck with playing any burned games. I'm sure it's something wrong on my end. I'll keep pluggin away at it.
As far as my experience with WiiDriveKey.com....... They were nothing short of Professional
