    WODE Channel Update released

A new Wii Channel mode has been added to Wode that removes the need to load an ISO before the Wii Channel can communicate with Wode.

An additional option has been added to the Settings/Auto Load option, 'WII', that will cause Wode to enter the Wii Channel mode from power on.

The main menu has been rearranged slightly, the 'Flat Wode' option has been replaced with an 'Advanced' option that takes you to a sub menu. The 'Advanced' menu contains 'Flat Wode' and a new option 'Wii Channel'. The 'Wii Channel' allows you to enter Wii Channel mode at any time & not just from power up

    To exit Wii Channel mode:
-When the channel is not running press the Wii eject button.
-When the channel is running select the 'home' button , the channel will exit without selecting a game and Wode will return to the main menu.

If a game is loaded via the channel Wode will leave Wii Channel mode and mount the selected game. If the game is subsequently ejected Wode will return to the Wii Channel mode.

The update can be downloaded here:

I have a Wode but I don't have a clue what this release actually does.

Short answer is - you will be able to browse through all your games on the HDD sitting down using your Wiimote to navigate and select the games you want to play. Please note that this channel is a project completed by WODE users for WODE users and is not part of the official WODE features.

The wodechannel is a working thing.

WODE , Nintendo, Wiitheme team, The Application makers or anyone else are not responsible if you damage your Wii, WODE or any other device using the software linked below
We will not be offering support for WAD installation of the forwarder channel

.WODE firmware 1.28 was released by TA together with a new version of the Wodemenu channel. You can find it here: WWW.WODEJUKEBOX.ORG • View topic - Wode V1.28 Firmware Update

    Changes:
    - titles.txt moved to sd:/wodemenu/titles/wiitdb_titles.txt
    - Optional sd:/wodemenu/titles/my_titles.txt to override the titles from wiitdb. This can also be used to change the GC titles
    - The GC Cfg ISO partition is hidden. The Channel will show an error if no game partitions are found.
    - Improved compatibility with the new "Wii Channel Mode". No need for an ISO to be mounted if the Wii Channel Mode is running.
    - Covers and titles download now grouped in an Options menu.
    - Covers now display correctly on 16:9 screens. No more stretching.

Other than that no new changes you will see. I've been adding some new functionality to the backend that will come in the next releases together with some UI changes.

    Known Bugs:
    - Scroller vertical size problem
    - Game list not scrolling up if partition is changed
    - Some problems with non-game ISOs
    - Text wrapping in the list. Some long titles go over the border
    - Weird delays in the startup reported by some users using a GC memory card or GC Action Replay

    And the installation guide.
