    Wii U System Update v2.1.3

Just updated my Wii U this morning and it doesn't appear to have affected my VWii mod

Nice one! Good to know mate. I'm going to try to set the time aside to mod my vWii this weekend lol.

I PM'd CJ similar findings reported on that um, other site (because I know it has been a legitimate concern for him relating to the vWii guide).

It's possible that none of the updates affect the vWii (thankfully), but I still won't hack just yet as to not take any chances lol. Besides, Devolution can't be fully used on vWii yet and I need access to my GC collection

Do we know what's new in this update? Like one of the promised improvements in speed?

One thing that I hope they fix is the latency between pressing a button and anything appearing to happen as a result. It's really off putting not knowing if your button press was registered or not because of the 5-10 sec delay between doing so and any visual reaction.

They should be instantly changing the screen, playing a sound, or something to indicate the button press was accepted, then start thinking about it, instead of thinking for 10 seconds before doing anything. Bad UI design. And this is from someone who's lousy at UI designs. (My expertise is in background processing and command line apps, neither of which have a UI).

EDIT: Man, that update was slow to download. Only 30 megs, but took over 5 min to download. I should have been able to download that in 45 seconds.
