    Post Wiimote lost connection

I have 1 wiimote at home that doesn't want to connect and sync to my Wii U after i have used it for the PC.

When i press sync it just continues to flash all 4 lights in the connection display at the buttom of the wiimote...... Forever..... It doesn't stop.....

Have i done something fatal when i had it connected to my computer. Is there a way to overwrite the firmware of the wiimote to start from scrath?

Did you try holding down the sync button on the Wii U for 30 seconds? if it works the same as the Wii, that should reset all Wii Remote syncs and let you reconnect them from a fresh list. I think I heard that there is a limit to the number of remotes that can be sync'ed.

What app/game/program is running when you try to sync the remote? In the Wii's case, if you try to do it while HBC or a homebrew app is running, you won't be able to sync it. You have to do it from some part of the Wii Menu or a game running to pair the remote to the system. Possible that may be the case here as well?

For Wii U controller sync I usually open the home menu and select the controller option. Here it tells you to press the sync button on the controller and doesn't require you to press it on the console.

I don't know if using the console sync button works the same way on Wii U as on Wii. I sort of thought the console sync button was there just for backward compatibility just like the SD card slot which can't be used in Wii U mode.

The 30 sec method is tested, and didn't work. And when i delete all wiimote sync data from the settings screen on my Wii u my other 2 wiimotes connects as normal but the one that i had synced with my phone and pc a few times still have the same issue... Can the connection to the PC and android system resulted in a driver or connection override of the wiimote, so it no longer is looking for the wii u as first choice of connection and because of that then no longer fully connecting to my wii u?

BTW before i deleted all sync data the wiimote could controle the toggleing of the home menu. By pressing the home button i could toggle the menu and A and B buttons worked to... But the pointer funktion didn't work and in the sync menu if i synced 1 wiimote before the one with the issue then i got a sync screen like this (1) Synced 2 not synced (But blocked for connections) (3) Synced and eventually (4) synced. So the wiimote would use/block it's sync queueplace in the wii u but it wouldn't fully connect to the wii u and light up slot (2) in the wii u sync menu. :S Very wierd

And i'm sorry for some of my terms and word uses. I ain't the best in speaking/writing english... :P

Have you set your PC and android system to forget the remote connection? they may be trying to connect to it, blocking the Wii U from getting connected to it.

If the home button and A and B buttons were working than the controller was connected. If the only thing not working was the pointer it's either a sensor bar issue or the controller is broken or something is blocking the cameras line of sight to the sensor bar.

Did the controller work fine with Dolphin? (assuming that is why you connected it to the PC).

Maybe go in to vWii mode and try and sync there or try it with another Wii system.

The part with numbers is impossible for me to decipher what you mean.
