That was sort of the point of the game, to show how multi-player games can be done "asynchronously" (meaning that one player is doing something completely different than the other players, yet still at the same time.)

Just another example of how Nintendo failed Marketing on this thing.

Of course, since I was at E3 in 2011 when they first revealed the Wii U, I played some of the demos that eventually turned into minigames in Nintendo Land. I'm looking forward to Game and Wario so I can play what "Shield Pose" turned into. (I'm not the one playing, I'm recording, but this is the game that I'm referring to...)

If you are talking about the nyko powerpak I simply gave up on trying to get that. Apparently their was some limited stock that did get released but I have doubts the they are ever going to release more. I put an order at gamestop and the release dated kept getting pushed back and back and back....gamestop decided to give it to me for free to make up for the inconvenience. I eventually just asked them for the Uboost instead and they gave that to me for free.

I really wanted the powerpak because I did not like the idea of attatching some clunky thing to my gamepad, but I have to tell you the Uboost is awesome. It is increadibly easy to take on and off, so I almost never have it on my gamepad. You can charge it completely seperate from the gamepad, so I will just charge it while I am playing and if I get a low battery it is easy to pop on the Uboost. It is really not inconvenient at all and does not affect gaming in my experience, it is not heavy and I forget it's even there. It charges the gamepad battery while you are playing which is way more convenient than having to plug in and have a wire. After you get a bit of a charge you can take the thing right off again and charge it up. I have not even gone the full time before, but usually will put it on for about 30 minutes and then take it off and am done playing before my gamepad gets low charge again. If you have it on you can double your playing time, but I think with the method I use I could go much longer than that. It's like fetching a pail of water as needed where you can have the uboost go grab some extra charge as needed. I highly recommend the uboost, I myself was skeptical and did not like the idea of the product and wanted a battery, but it is so good and has solved all my battery problems I may not even bother to get the batttery if it ever comes out.

SNESmaster, are you serious about Nintendoland? I think it may be the greatest local multiplayer game ever. I really love this game, my family has had so much fun with it and it is great to all play together (even if there is the occasional fighting over who gets to use the gamepad). It is by far the definitive WiiU experience IMO. Hopefully you have motion+ for metroid and zelda because those are great. I only have 2 myself but 3 players on those games is pretty cool, I may pick up more motion+ for these. I just wish some of the games supported the nunchuck/classic/pro instead of forcing you to use wiimote dpad, but that is my only gripe with the game.

I bought the deluxe Wii U and never took Nintendoland out of the shrink wrap lol. All the best games are multiplayer and I don't have anyone to play with

I do have a motion+ WiiMote though so maybe I can get one of my brothers to play with me..

Hey llaffer, has your battery shipped yet? Looks like Gamestop is shipping them now through their website. If it hasn't shipped yet you could cancel it and order from Gamestop.

Gamestop has also discounted the Uboost by $5. You can use both together if you wanted.

Also they have anounced an official Nintendo battery in Japan (as well as a white 32GB set and Nintendoland WiimotionPlus bundle) that you figure will be coming out elsewhere as well.

The Nintendo battery is saying 2550 mAh and estimates 8 hours of use. The Nyko battery images I seen say 4000 mAh and estimates to triple your normal battery life.

Weird. I just checked my order, and it says it still has no estimated date.

I check the item, and see this: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

5 in stock, selling for $50.

My pre-order was when it was $25.

So I guess they are selling them for higher profit while they can, and pushing me off since I'm only giving them half the money

Amazon even offered to cancel my pre-order last week since it's "taking so long". Good thing I told them no.

Well I ordered from gamestop just now for $24.99 (free shipping) and have heard a few people have recived theirs from them. Seems to be online only and not available for pick up in store. It is supposed to ship in 24 hours. I will let you know if it does as you may want to cancel your amazon order and get it from gamestop.

That is a Chinese knock off of the nyko uboost. It is also the same price as the real thing except that right now GameStop has discounted the uboost making it even cheaper than this knockoff.

Why you say it's a knock off when I have it in front of me right now and it's working fine ?

Because nyko came out with the uboost and that is a copy of it that wasn't made by nyko. Chinese knockoffs in general are made cheaply. Glad it's working for you, I think it is great myself but I would advise getting the nyko made version if someone is going to buy one, not saying you should replace yours.

Chinese knockoffs are great for some things. I buy them to charge my iphone and they work even if they are lower quality than cables made by apple but for way cheaper.
