Need Help with Vc Wiiware Games, Ds emulator.

Hey, wiiflow seems to work with Wii game's and they launch perfectly off my hard drive, now the issue that I'm running into is, after a nand extraction, i install some wad's using showmiiwads, i then launch them and i get a white bar filling up then freezes or i get a Exception (Dsi) error occurred! Same error happens when i try launching a game in the ds emulator. Any solutions or explanations are welcome to solve my issue, thanks!

The DS emulation on Wii is barely functional, just get the DS emu for your PC. As for the VC installing issue it could be a problem with WiiFlow, try using ShowMiiWads on your PC to install them to the NAND.

i do use showmiiwads after a nand dump to install wad's,i try to launch and i get a bar that is white usually filling up, then freezes at 1/4, or i get a exception (dsi) error occurred! with a bunch of numbers code dumps etc.

I'm getting some problems to with some WiiWare installed to emulated Nand on vWii, using USB Loader GX. I used USB Loader GX to rip the nand from the Wii-U. I then used USB Loader GX to install Bit Trip Beat wad into that nand, but it just hangs at a black screen. Arkanoid, however, works. However, all games work on my old Wii. Must USB Loader GX use an emulated Nand from the machine you are using? Or could I, say, use a emuNand ripped from my old Wii using BootMii on my Wii-U's vWii?

LMAO... I think I get what halk is saying. From my experience, a working emulated nand from a regular Wii does indeed work on the vWii. I personally have not attempted to dump a vWii nand or do anything with it, simply because my emulated nand dump from my old Wii works just fine. I was pleasantly surprised when I just plugged in my HDD with all my old games and nand dump with injected wads and it worked fine in GX. Cant speak for everyone, but in my case it works.

Thanks cjizzle. That's what I was asking: can you use any nand dump from any given Wii for purposes of playing WiiWare/VCgames on USB loader? Or must it be the specific nanddump from the console you are using. So the answer then, is that you can use any dump.

Well, the answer is that it worked for me. I cant vouch for anything else because I havent had the data to sift through to tell if it works for everyone else or not. My original Wii nand dump has d2x v8 final with the recommended config in 245-251. My vWii has d2x v10 b52 in 249-251. Im definitely curious to find out if it works for others. Let me know!

That's pretty darned cool if you ask me. I had not thought a wii NAND to be interchangeable for something like emulation on a wii u in any way shape or form. If it worked once, it will certainly work again somehow.

Agreed. Whenever I decide to hack my vWii (probably when the warranty expires) I'll have to keep this in mind.
