    Wii U Freezing

Apparently a bunch of people are having this issue. Mine actually have froze today, but it has only happened once.

IGN says is because of a bug on the miiverse channel and foreign languages: Wii U Freezing? - Here's a Solution & Why its nothing to be too scared about - Blog by BBQsetz - IGN
But I'm wondering if the wiiu actually have heating issues. I hope not...!
My console was a little hot when it happened, just a little over the normal (5 hours+ of gaming).

Hope that link helps if somebody here is having that issue!

I just spent 4 hours playing Arkham City and another hour or 2 doing other various things such as MiiVerse and TVii. I haven't not hat a freeze (and hopefully won't) but thank you for the resources, is your Wii U fried or does it still work?

Edit: According that article the update is supposed to come next week and that article was posted in November so...shouldn't this be fixed now? Lol

It happened to my son a few times while playing Nintendoland a few weeks ago. we thought it to perhaps be a problem with the disk, since we have had simular issues on both xbox360 and playstation 3. we couldn't find anything wrong, but decided to play something else instead. we tried the game a few days later and had no incident. So we just chalked it up to a random disturbance in the force lol.

Lol yeah. i just naturaly expect the worst out of new technology. That way I'm not too disappointed from a mishap. My son on the other hand ( high-funtioning autistic), finds the whole affair to be intolerable.

Rumor has it that this is related to the loading times / port 9103 issues, of which, I am about to post an update concerning. More will be revealed in the coming days, hopefully.

Nintendo land has not worked well for me at all even after updating from what I have read Nintendoland is the sole cause for 60 percent of wii u hard lockups and issues. Play another game see if it happens then. Maybe the underlying cause is something to do with a too short ttl "time to live" disk read.
