    Nintendo TVii Help

Just set it up and, to my great pleasure, it works with over the air channels (ie I'm too cheap to afford cable so I get whatever my antenna gives me lol). Anyway there is one small problem I'm having, when I see a show I want to watch and it says "now playing" I click on the channel, point the GamePad at the screen and press yes for the antenna being connected. However, it doesn't change to the digital channel (ie channel XX-1) it just goes to the analog channel XX which broadcasts nothing. Does anyone have a solution?

Wish I could help, but TVii isn't available in Australia. *Sigh*

I thought it was. Wow, usually we US users are last to get this kind of thing lol. Anyway, I have yet to try the helpful info I just discovered but if anyone else is having issues with TVii look here, it has quite a bit of info:

    Nintendo TVii Official Support Page

I really just wish I could afford cable (or that WiiMC was ported to WiiU...I'm betting WiiU can support my HD videos shot with my iPhone and Blu-Ray rips), sure I could go with Hulu+ for $8 a month but my bandwidth would never survive that lol.

I will edit/post back if the above link solves my issue.

    Problem solved

Now I just have to wait for DVR to be added (assuming it will work with over the air channels)

Do you have a digital converter? If so, just select "cable box" and it will detect it!

Nope, my TV has built-in digital reception.
The fix was pretty simple, I just had to re-do the TVii setup and make sure I pointed the GamePad at the TV a certain way (straight up, ie with the screen facing me...and I have to hold it that way till it changes the channel lol)
