I've replaced my copy of Smash Bros, now I just need a 2gb SD card and I'll be giving this guide a try (despite still having my reservations on wether or not modding the vWii will be safe in the long run).
I can't see section 5 on any browser

Is there any reason to install this on my Wii U when it already works on my Wii?
So you can put your old Wii away and use just your Wii U. The Wii U can do everything the Wii does and then someOriginally Posted by carazy
All this time I was thinking I couldn't hack my WiiU because I have Lego Starwars The Complete Saga and i thought I needed a version that was just Lego Starwars with out the Complete Saga part. (and my Smash Bros Disc refuses to play....Disc Error grrrrrr)
I was just poking around and I am guessing The Complete Saga is what the Lego Starwars Wii game is called.
Does Lego Starwars III also work?
Just read every post of this thread, some useful info. From what I gather the most likely outcome, if anything would happen, is that the cIOS set would get stubbed and the HBC channel deleted. Only if you go crazy and start replacing things you shouldn't would a brick be a risk.
Previously I thought that this guide was similar to the transitional ANY Wii guide which replaces stock IOSs as well.
So this is much safer than I had thought it would be. I want to ask though, what are the odds Nintendo could close up some or all of these exploits? I've already got my SSBB disc replaced, a 16gb SDHC card and downloaded all the needed files in preparation to do this guide but I wonder if I wait to long (out of paranoid caution lol) if I might miss my window of opportunity.
I dont see anything under step 5 "installing your apps" not sure if I am doing something wrong..? help please..
