Once you've modded the system, any SD card up to 32gigs can be used for loading apps, WiiWare/Virtual Console, etc.

We say to use a 1g or 2g card during the modding process since some modding tools may not like higher capacity cards (different drivers required to load a 4+ gig card than a 2g and under card).

That is correct, maybe just make a note of that in the guide then with a reference to the other installer ? Also, do you know of any issues with these controllers on regular wii games that do not require them ??

Thanks for the guide, it worked really well for me!

I just have one minor problem and I was just gonna check if anyone else is experiencing the same thing, it seems like all the loaders have problem detecting my USB harddrive (it worked without problems on my original Wii), and I have to disconnect and reconnect it until it works.

I read that a pigtail usb cord helps on wiiu. Not sure if it will help you, but it is a cheap thing to try.

That's an option, but does it make a difference for an external harddrive thats powered through an AC adapter?

I guess this is an impossible question to answer but,
when Nintendo releases the next firmware update for the Wii U, is it theoretically possible for the vWii or Wii U itself to get bricked?
