Thanks for the quick reply, cjizzle. I have done a full format (not the Quick Format option and tried again. Still no luck... Maybe it is something with my SD card?

Yeah thats what Im thinking. The Hackmii Installer is picky about SD cards. Try a different one.

I will try to buy a new one tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. I am using a MicroSD with a Transcend MicroSD adapter, that might just be it. I will post the results after trying with a new others can learn from it as well.

    Thanks mate

Sandisk is preferred, I have also used Kingston with success. Make sure it is a standard 2GB SD card! Larger SDHC cards have been known not to work either (For the hackmii installer part). After installing the HBC you can upgrade your card if you need to.

Hey Cjizzle, as I promised, here I am so others can learn by reading this. I've bought a Kingstom 1GB (pretty hard to find SD cards today here in Brazil that are less than 4GB) and it worked like a charm. I've installed the Homebrew and cIOs smoothly. Thanks a lot for the tips and for the well written article.

I guess I only have 2 questions left:

1-What is the best software to transform my games into .iso files (WiiFlow reads only .isos, am I right?) I was reading somewhere that I need to extract my games into a .wbfs file, is that true?
2-How do I donate to this website via paypal?

    Cheers from Brazil!

All of the current USB loaders can read .iso files or .wbfs files. Wbfs files can be split along the 4gb mark when properly installed so they work with FAT32 partitions.

All current USB loaders can also rip the disk for you. Place the game disk in and select the Install function of the loader (different loaders access it in different ways). The app will read the entire disk (usually takes about 20-25 min) and will install the game on the hard drive, in the proper directory, as .wbfs files.

There are other programs that run on PC/Linux/Mac that can do the conversions from .iso to .wbfs, see the FAT32 and NTFS guides for more information on that.

We maintain our guides; if there were a Wii-U guide for the Wii-U, it'd have been posted. You may used a powered USB device for the vWii mode, as stated in the guide.
