Hey all. I just got my son a Wii U for Christmas and we already have a softmodded Wii. My question, any tips or how to guides for people that already have a softmodded Wii and want to copy and softmod the Wii U as well? Do I just copy my old Wii to the new Wii U and I'm good to go? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
There is a lot of testing going on at present moment. Some are reporting success in softmodding the vWii on the Wii U, but there are an awful lot of bricks out there right now too. As of present, we have chosen not to provide any guides on the subject simply because no one knows enough about it yet in order to create a foolproof guide. We dont want to lend a hand in helping people brick their brand new Wii U consoles. Especially since everything that is currently being tried out on the vWii is already perfectly stable on the old Wii itself.
As for the Wii U itself, no it has not been hacked yet. Keep checking back. As soon as something is stable, we will report on it! :)
