Toys R Us stores to stop receiving Wiis?

At my local Toys R Us one of the workers there said that they won't be selling Wiis in store anymore. Can anyone confirm if this is true for all Toys R Us stores?
Maybe she just wanted the masses of Wii hunters to #$%@# off

I don't think that is true... toys r us and Nintendo have had a long time partnership i don't see them not selling wii's... maybe they just aren't getting a shipment for a little while...

Yeah, it sounds like someone wants to stop being asked when wii shipments are coming in lol. There is no reason to think that toys r us won't be selling wii's as long as they carry videogames. There was a rumour they were going to hold some wii's for a large shipment similar to what they did before christmas.

This shortage just amazes me.... i thought by this time i could just walk into any store and just purchase a nintendo wii....

i wonder if it is a marketing gimmick or can they just not keep up with demand...

Unfortunatly the only location right now where you can find a Wii is Jumper's house.
