How much would it cost for a decent tv that supportas component cables? All I have is composite.

Here is a nice RCA model I found for you: [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register] with the component inputs. They put out a nice sharp quality picture and are moderatly priced. This one is also HDTV ready too.

For some reason I was under the impression that most tv's could support that cable.. they just wouldn't be like HD or anything

Regular non HDTV's can also come with the component jacks too. I just mentioned the HDTV ready one because there was very little difference in price between the two models. As HDTV becomes more popular it is always nice to be ready for it instead of having to upgrade or add additional components.
