So typical, the dark side of Wii fanboys comes out just because this topic has nothing to do with the Wii.
If you read about it, it is not the same technology (similar is not the same and therefore not a copy). The reality is that many ignorant casuals are buying crappy wii games, and so companies are forced to meet these requirements to cope in these economic times. If you insist that this is a genuine copy of the Wii, then go ahead and live under your rock because your going to left behind in terms of the future of games.
Gee sony are dogs, Can't make their crappy console sell well so lets just go and copy some of Nintendos stuff to help it along. I hope it fails and burns miserably. Will teach them a###oles to think up their own stuff....
LOL to n00bs trying to be funny on the board.
So what if some people assumed Sony was stealing more of Nintendo's ideas. It has happened a few times by Sony AND MICROSOFT so Nintendo lovers can assume that. Now go back to your crappy Sony motion control, and your Microsoft "Mii ripoffs."

happens all the time innovation gets copied thats the truth. I am more then happy owning more then one console and find they all have faults, the wiimote aint perfect is it? (not flaming or trolling just stating an opinion)
Think of it as an improved wiimote. I enjoy Wii games but it lacks graphics. The Wiimote isn't as precise as I would like it to be either. Hopefully Sony can come through and cater to the hardcore gamers who need better response for more competitive gaming.
