Analysts have a tendency to be wrong on occasion, but sometimes they're dead right. I hope this one's the right kind.
Analyst Colin Sebastian expects Nintendo to release a new Zelda game by next year. You'd better be right Sebastian, or else your New Year's resolution should be not to get people's hopes up.
The Zelda game popped up in his list of titles that would be big next year, which also included sure-fire titles like Resident Evil 5 and StarCraft II. Also in his list is a new Princess Peach game.
Not that I don't want to see a new Zelda game, but I'm skeptical since Shigeru Miyamoto himself said that their core games in development won't be completed for two or three more years. Zelda could be the exception though, who knows?
I for one really hope a new Zelda game is coming out next year, as the Zelda series are just cool.

multi player would just ruin the budget, less time to add to the story, more to make it fun for the multi players =\
im saying that 2011 is a long time to wait im not saying it wont come out im hoping it will come out sooner!
i would have to say that nintendo is probably ready to ditch the wii for another console that isnt as easily hack-able. you are probably right. nintendo has a huge problem with all the hacking issues the wii faces. it is putting a serious dent in their pocket. zelda being one of their trademark games, they would probably save it for the next console instead if putting it out with the current wii.
