Download error from within hbc beta 0.9 when trying to update to 1.0 Anyone else getting this error?

Here's a thought. You could try the search function and search the forums here. Why not try the 'FAQs and Tutorials' section? no one is gonna do it, hell 90% of the time they post in the wrong spot

So i tried again last night to update HBC via HBC beta 0.9 and......................... it worked. Perhaps their servers were overwhelmed.
I am amazed at the intelligence of these programmers who get no formal financial credit for what they are doing. I guess it would be less "legal" to be doing this if it were not free huh??

I just installed homebrew today on my wii, I also upgraded a few minutes later.
I used the homebrew chan program from their webpage and the Zelda hack. It installed just fine and fast. However when I load the homebrew chan There is nothing for me to click on. Only floating bubbles. Now isnt homebrew supposed to at least come with some type of apps? or even some type of wad manager?
After all of that I have homebrew installed but can't really do anything with it.
I am already getting apps as we speak from other sources but I figured the It would come with a few things from the initial install. Any advice as to which apps I should get? I am a first time Brewer running 3.4E

EOC's pack has some apps already on, and if you DL and install homebrew browser you can install apps just from the browser - tons of apps there. Pretty easy and amazing!
