I think 0.6 beta3 is fine. But there are still instances where you can run into trouble. The creator of the code has only released it as a beta. I have loaded and used it on 4.3E and 4.1E both using HBC 1.0.8 IOS58, and both have an active internet connection. (its only the install that has some issues, once loaded it will work fine) The are are some good features in it, use hacks_hash.ini, online update.
I cannot recommend it to you, as it is not the official release, (0.4) is.

Is there a more advanced level guide available for the priiloader? I just don't want to accident lock myself out of the Wii while experimenting with all the Priiloader features. I already gotten Black Screen by changing Force Restore and gamecube controller to enable - lol. I wonder if that's a .5 bug? Anyhow, I give .4 a try. Thanks

Thanks for the help, I got Priiloader installed this morning. I used version .4

I'm still learning but I think I'm just about as protected as I can be from bricks.
    - Priiloader installed and able to boot directly to it
    - All Updates blocked
    - bootmii (as an IOS unfortunately)
    - NAND Back Up saved to my PC. (This was saved pre-priiloader, should I do anther post-priiloader)?

There is a possibility you can a DSI exception error or a brick. Its due to a problem with HBC, using AHBPROT.
Having an INTERNET connection seems to solve it. I have done some testing on beta priiloaders, and have had several bricks without INTERNET, and none with.
If you are going to use 0.5 you might as well use 0.6 beta 3. This is ready for release as soon as the HBC bug is fixed, that could be never, or next week.

Be careful. I would not do it without boot2, and certainly not without an INTERNET connection.

I have a non-boot2, but I have priiloader. Am I really brick protected? All guides now insist we copy our NAND regardless, yet it seems if you are not boot2, it may not matter.

What's the difference or safety net in having Priiloader v.4 vs .5 install bootmii as an IOS? It would seem they both run the same risk of bricking. I think I'm getting more and more confused about this.
