I don't know why. The game would load of fine, I'd play a few stages and then everything went black. It was really random, somethings it took 20 mins and other times 5 and once it wouldn't load until I rebooted the wii.. I hasn't done it since I patched the main.dol file in the iso.
This is the only problem Ive had so far which is not really a problem for me cause its something that I had to do before anyway.
Wow, that was just mean. Funny, but mean.

No need to uninstall!

+] Custom IOS Installer (v38 rev 17)
developed by Waninkoko
[ DESCRIPTION ]:
- This is a Custom IOS, an IOS modified to add some new features
not available in the official IOS.
This IOS has been made to be used ONLY with homebrew software.
The Custom IOS installs as IOS249 and it does not modify any other
IOS so it is secure to install.
[ REQUISITES ]:
- "IOS38-64-v3867.wad" original WAD file (for WAD installation).
- Network connection (for Network installation).
[ HOW TO INSTALL IT ]:
- Copy "IOS38-64-v3867.wad" file to the root of a SD card.
- Insert the SD card on your Wii.
- Run the installer and select "WAD Installation".
- Run the installer and select "Network Installation".
From Changelog.txt [excerpt]
[ CIOS38 rev 17 ]:
- DIP plugin improved (some code has been rewritten).
- More error 001 bug fixing.
- DVD+DL bug fixed.
- FFS plugin fixed.
[ CIOS38 rev 16 ]:
- Error 001 bug fixed.
- NSMB proper fix added.
[ CIOS38 rev 15 ]:
- DVD+DL support fixed.
- DIP plugin improvement (NSMB may work a bit better).
- ES plugin optimized.
- FAT module bugs fixed.
- FFS plugin bugs fixed.
- EHCI module optimized.
- Fixed bug in Installer.
- Miscellaneous changes.
This revision seems to fix errors that where causing problems in rev15-16.
SSBB (on DVD-DL) works fine for me, tested it with NeoGamma rev8 beta 17. Other 'problematic' games also work (tested MP:Trilogy and NSMBW from SD, USB, and DVD).
Looks as if we can now finally move on from v14 to v17.
GC Backup Launcher and USB Loader GX confirmed working also.
Also includes cIOS249-v17.wad and cIOS250-v17.wad from gbatemp (thx det1re). Or use Wad Creator/BlueDump to dump the .wad yourself.
