idk when it failed he said it was the chip that was messed up and that i need to get a new one so i havent tried on my new wii yet im currently thinking about getting a new disc drive pre modded to save me time/ and lower the risk

Well I just got a unmoddable Wii. Bought it about 4 days ago, got the argon chip with wiiclip, come to find out the Cpu's have a metal casing over them. the wii clip/argon processor wont even fit onto it. i got hd video of it, will upload it soon. am i better off bringing this wii back to where i bought it, and try buying from another store?

serial # starts with LU566

I just bought 2 Wii today, and I went to ask professionals mod shop to get it to mod, he said that he cannot mod, because my Serial No: is LU565

is it really LU565 cannot mod? Is it possible there is a chance that a new mod will come out in future? Should I return the Wii?

I can't say for you what to do..... but I would buy a another 1

can you post a picture of it here?

don't know about a metal case on cpu..... are you meaning the DCU on the drive3 board where the clip goes on?
