Unmoddable?
Got my wii may 22.
Serial starts with LU570 .
Am I unmoddable?

i have a wii with LU5711(i got it on may7-08 walmart)is there anything will it work?
i was going to go with wasabi,,but for now,i just dont know,,plus i would like to update from dvd,,,

I doubt that LU570 or LU571 is moddable with current modchips atm

but nothing is 100% ...you still have to open the Wii and at least check out the chip and board markings.

GMODS today found some that was supposed to be moddable and they weren't.... so info is still coming in.

How long is a week in regular time?? I mean it seems like last week was this week and a month ago was this month. I sounds to me like they haven't cracked anything yet and are scrambling to put something out that doesn't exist.

D2Cpro can mod the D2C2 ... als you need is some firmware update!

Okay, I'm a newbie to the Wii, just got one 2 days ago, serial starts with L570. If I read all this correctly, there's a very strong chance it's unmoddable. Although I also see a few places that say the D2Pro9 chip works on all systems, so I don't know which to believe. Should I be holding off a bit longer before buying a chip or does the D2Pro9 work. Do I need to buy another optical drive for it or something else? Sorry, I'm just a bit confused by all of this and I've done due diligence in searching not only this board but through google too. Thanks in advance for any help.

i think you should wait a few week cuz the new chip is going to bee in stock next week and it will work with ur wii
no need to buy optical drive
