I softmodded my Wii and there's almost nothing I can't do on it.

So yeah, I really do wonder the advantages of modchips...
I hear more stories about people wasting their money and not even getting them installed right than I hear about people being happy with them.

What do you mean when you say you "Softmodded" the Wii? are referring to installing the Homebrew channel using TP Hack?

^Yes, and at the rate people are creating homebrew apps for Wii, I really don't think it'll even be that long before we see custom firmware updates and even menu skins. Already, the guy that made the Starfall system menu patch for european Wii's is supposedly working on an "update blocker" to be included in that app's next public release.
