If you look in this site, How many questions do you see asking why a modchip wont load ____ game as opposed to why wont backup loader wont play with ___ game
The same boring questions about backup loader come up again and again.....
If everyone bought a modchip and wasn't stingey, the world would be a better place

I've successfully installed .9 Gamma and have burned 21 games.
...which is actually a streak of 100%.
Sometimes after a burn the disc doesn't work, but all it takes is finding a new source for the game and trying again.
It works every time.
hey i'm relatively new to all this. I have gamma .3 i think. I just burned a disc and got a 002 error message. I found another copy of the game that actually has in the description 002 fix. I supposed I will try that one. also, I can't get a pal game to play on my wii even with force NTSC. I'm regetting that too and trying. How many version of gamma are there? I know this is off topic with the topic title but it follows how the convo is going. Do I need a system update (menu update) for .9 and does it effect the games I already have working?
If u run Backup Launcher 0.3 Gamma RegionFrii it should do it for you

OK I just got the GC backup launcher n cant get it going. My wii is at 3.2u i have backup channel and gamma 3 on it everything else runs fine wads, backup gams pal and ntsc. i coppied miospatcher and rungcbackup from the gcbackup0.1_v7.taz file 'they both contain the 3 nessary files' to the apps dir on my sd card. i run miospatcher and try to press z on my wireless gamecube controller and nothing happens. i'm running IOS36-64-v1042. any help would be appricated.
I have a problem with getting the gc backup launcher working. The problem is whenever i run the backuplauncher the wii turns to a green screen then restarts.... If anyone had the same problem and knows how to fix it, can you give me a messege or reply on here? thanks in advance
make sure u install the miopatch... i did it twice.. did version 5 didnt work then version 8 and it works!
then u put in a game in the wii boot it up at the gamecube booter then push A... and it works.. i tired pal games doesnt really work.. just nstc... hope that helps!
