Rumor: Nintendo DSi coming to US on April 4 at $179

These same sources have put a $179.99 price tag on the DSi for its domestic release. In contrast, DSi retails for ¥18,900 ($210) in Japan, where it launched on November 1, 2008.

Not really Wii news, but Nintendo related none-the-less. This date would make sense as it is tax return season and retailers love putting things on sale around that time.

not really slightly bigger screen
no more slot2
comes w/ a camara
mp3 player, calander
pretty much watever u have w/ the old R4 and TT chips
longer batt life?

oh and u need the new R4i or something w/ an "i" on the chip to play backup games

i personally doubt it will come this year.

my reason?

Nintendo stated that they would release the DSi in america when the DS lite's sales begin to drop.

And apparently the DS lite sales in America haven't been dropping :|.

also I was told that the camera on the outside of the DS is 3 megapixels while the camera can the inside is .3megapixels .
