The "Nintendo Seal of Approval" stamp can be earned by filling out paperwork. Nintendo does not have any formal "proof of concept" board to review game ideas. Fill out the paper work, get the approval, then publish. This is the key reason why there are so many awful games for the DS and Wii.

Can't say i disagree. Nintendo needs to watch out for all those abysmal games, or the wii reputation will eventually suffer from it... or not. Still, they should try controlling a little better the quality of their games.

Actually.......most of the older popular systems have had at least 40-100 good games. PS2 would be one of the big ones, but I would exclude the Xbox and Gamecube from that list. And of course I'm not speaking of any sega system beyond the genesis.

The problem is that the wii has the most games on the market in comparison to its rivals, yet it has a lower amount of decent games contradicting that. So the Wii, in terms of capita, has the worst selection of games.

dont get into a how many good games did ___ have, its Subjective, but come on the ps2 and me i thought 5 games were good, and i played 400+

Yeah of course every system have it's fair share of good and bad games but the Wii have 3 times as much of the bad games as the good games.

And just for you, I'll name 40 good titles on the 360 (probably 3-4 times more than the Wii lmao):

but you forget, the wii also have that many more titles DUE to the crappy games, and lets not forget that the wii USES A NEW METHOD TO PLAY GAMES, THAT NO OTHER SYSTEM IS CURRENTLY USING OR USED!
due to this, the system is buggy, and not as great as it could be, so games arnt as fun... people forget about this =\

IE CoD5 360 > wii, not only because it has less content due to the fact that the wii is a weaker system, but its easier to play on the 360... thats one thing that hurts it

the thing i love is i have to defend a system, that everyone is here to hack... but lets look at your list, and remove anything thats not allready established, since the wii is a lot of new and innovations, most of all lets not get into a debate of subjective topics

you CANT clame that the wii sucks, for everyone because it has a LOT of good games, and original ones, ive played most of those games, and i thought most of them was bad, does that make your pointless right, or mine more right? no... you cant say its all bad, but the AVERAGE GAMER can usually find 40 or so titles they love... but i dont want to see more debate on my coment, unless you can prove how a subjective comment is up for debate, you got no right to coment

I hope we don't enter a subjective argument trying to say what games are good and what aren't. I'm not trying to argue the definition of what makes a good/great game. Decent games are considered good by me, great games are just great, and then there are drool games. Anyhow, there were many Par games via popularity for the PS2 for whatever reason, and they were considered good.

The 360 has more than the previously listed statement I would say. But it still hasn't lived out it's life as a system, so I wouldn't include it at this point in time.

Anyhow, furthermore on the Wii thing, who cares if the games play differently? Sure Metroid 3 had a great aiming system down, and felt like an FPS should, but more than 60% of the games on it are pure utter garbage. Shovelware. Nintendo needs to fix their seal of approval so crappy games stop coming out as if they were made for windows.

Dude cmon...... There's some really cheezy games you mentioned here. I think you're trying to stretch it a bit don't you? Far Cry 2 is way over rated and sucks. Halo 3? Ok it's ok but totally copied starseige tribes. Tom Clancy Rainbow 6 is borderline too. You look at how long the 360 has been out compared to the Wii. Sure you'll have more games, but I'll be playing my Wii when you 360 is being sent in for repairs.

Wii does have some crappy games but hell the price on those crappy games are next to nothing.

^Everything you've just said is blockheaded bias against Microsoft with nothing but a pure self-created argument. You have no evidence to back up Far Cry being a bad game, only forcing what you "think" is true onto other people.........

There are good games on both systems, the 360 still has more of them; great, good, and decent. I would say the Wii has more than the PS3 at this point, but who knows what the future holds?

Wii games costing next to nothing? 10 dollars less for a good game (sometimes, not very many of them), 20 less for a bad game (most the time), and 30 less for the worlds biggest piece of *** you'll put down after you pick it up? Sounds like a waste of money to me.


And who said ports don't count? I would include RE4 as a good wii game.........
