Drivekey, The Second No-Solder Modchip, Announced

With the Wasabi Zero being the first, the Drivekey is now the second.

As you can see, this one is unique. It does not mount on the drive chip controller, it intercepts the signal between the motherboard and laser unit.

It would require the removal of arrow'ed cable.

Not much else is known about its compatibility, but in theory, it could be a no-solder solution to the "D2Nothing" consoles. (systems with no drive controller)

Epoxy pains will be a thing of the past too.

Yes, they seem quite stable so far :-) Wiikey is bringing out a newie in the next couple of weeks, the fusion, will also allow SD loading of backups :-)
