modded Korean wii, how to update USB loader

    Hello.

    I live in South Korea.

I have a hard modded wii. I am not sure which chip is in it, the guy that did it didnt speak English.

Most of the time it works great, either playing back ups using "open wii" or using a USB loader. My question is.

How do I add home brew channels to it? Its all in Korean, so someone would walk me through the basics.... ie, hit the third option... et cetera.

I am trying to play a back up using USB loader and it is saying "can't open big file" I googled the problem and I guess I need a better/updated USB loader.

So... in conclusion... how can I add a new USB loader to my hard modded wii (I don't think it even has the home brew channel on it"

and whats a good USB loader?

thanks, and I apologize if this is a stupid or vague quesiton. Like I said, all my stuff is in Korean, so its hard to keep up to date on it.

    thanks!

You should change the language to English first. I'm not near my Wii right now, but it is in System Settings. Maybe you could get someone who reads Korean to find the option and change it.

If you can load games through a USB drive, then it is already softmodded. It could be hardmodded too. I suggest you follow Softmod ANY Wii in my signature. It will give you Configurable USB Loader, which is the most stable loader available. The setup is great and that guide will update everything for you. You also need to Introduce Yourself.

    thanks for the advice... but.

Korean wiis can't be changed into English. I don't know why, but Nintendo did the Koreans really, really silly. Thats why its hard modded. I am not sure what they did to it. But they opened it up and put something in it. They added a USB loader and something called openwii. And some other opener that I've never used and it doesnt seem to do anything.

    So with this in mind.

how can I add a new USB loader?

Sorry if this is confusing. But I've never done this on a wii, and mines only in Korean.

I read through the guide, but I am still confused.

If my wii is hard modded do I need to add all the homebrew files? Or can I just install a new usb loader app?

You need all of it. USB loading goes with softmods. Having a hardmod won't contribute.
