    Exclamation An error has occurred...

My Wii constantly get the error-message: "An error has occurred etc." each time I put either a backup or retail copy of a game inside it.

I've got a Wiikey 1.9s and my Firmware is currently 4.2E.
    I've patched IOS15-64-v257, IOS15-64-v523, IOS56-64-v5405 and IOS70-64-v6687.
And I've also done the IOS36 patch-thingy on Multi Mod Manager, where I've installed most IOS on.

All my WiiWares and Virtual Console games work perfectly but I'm getting the feeling that my Wii's laser is broken but I do not hope so.

Anyone got a solution for this problem? Feel free to comment if there's any info or spec you're missing.

    Thanks before hand.

It sounds like you're softmodded and hardmodded, correct? If so, please follow this guide to generate an IOS report and post your reply here in-thread.

    IOS55 (rev 5149),No,Disabled,Disabled,Disabled,Disabled,Disab led,Disabled
    Update that to REV 5406

Also you can try to update your cIOS to rev 17.....

What loader are you using or are you using the Disk Channel since you have a modchip.... The other thing that you can try is to go to the Modchips WEbsite and see if there is an update for the Modchip as most of the time there is...

I'm using the Disc Channel yes, and I've checked the Wiikey website but it seems like 1.9s is the latest and have been since 2 years back. ^^'

So does any version of the rev 5406 work and rev 17? Or do I need to get some patched version on a special site?

EDIT: I installed both rev 5406 on IOS55 and the cIOS is now on rev 17, though nothing has changed as my Wii still gets the error.

    Any other thoughts?

    *bump*

Sorry for this but it seems I can't get replies any other way.

I'd really like some help please, don't know where else I should turn to.

(I'd also so like to play Super Mario Galaxy 2 in a nearby future!) D:
