backup keep on spinning, need help.

I recently installed (solder method) a D2PRO9 V3 modchip onto a DMS firmware. Everything seems to be ok with the installation because I saw red and blue light came on and off on the modchip. But the backup keep on spinning. System is able to load original games. Has anyone have this problem? Is the D2PRO9 v3 Compatible with the DMS firmware?

yes its compatible have you tried several backups or just the one? also did you click on the game channel and load the disc in? sometimes if you are on old firmware the disc will keep spinning and the game icon wont show because the game requires a system update.

Yes I did load the backup through the game channel. I also tried loading from power start up. The disc just spinned for both ways.

How do I update the system with new firmware? If I update the DMS firmware does that up the rev to d2A,B,C or E? Or it remain as DMS with update firmware code?

I tried the same D2pro v3 on a modchip and just like what dtran8118 said....it not reading any backups and it just spinning up, same thing with this one, when I tried the same chip on a D2C drive, it reads, so i'm guessing that the new v3 with the latest firmware in the chip still is not compatible with some of the wikey version wiis. Cause it only work with the D2C up to D2E drives only.
Thanks everyone for the great support.

GMODZ, I never to post any pic before so you have show me how. I soldered 5 wires to the board. 1 to the power, 1 to ground, 2 near the main chip (H,G) and last 1 need the ribbon cable.
