    dvd5 / dvd9 firmware 3.3

im currently on 3.1 and all my backups of my originals work well on dvd5 - can you still use dvd5 if my wii was upgraded to 3.3 (or would i have to reburn my collection to dual layer discs)?

Updating to 3.3 will not affect games being on dvd5, the only thing it affects is if any of your games are trucha signed (custom wii discs) which will reuire the use of GeckoOS to load. Also if you have not yet installed homebrew channel then its easier to to do so before you upgrade to 3.3 using the DVDiso method.

USB Gecko is a third party hardware device, but GeckoOS is a Wii Application but does not require the use of the USB Gecko device.
