SneekyChip - new modchip in the works based on SNEEK

(Image is a link to the work-in-progress site! SneekyChip will be moving to a REAL domain soon!)

In the works is SneekyChip, a modchip based off of SNEEK and it's feature-filled NAND emulation. While nowhere near shipping yet, it is well underway. It will include all of SNEEK's features and more, including:
    - NAND Emulation
    - SysMenu Emulation
    - Wii Disc Backups
    - Wii USB Backups
    - GC Disc Backups
    - GC USB Backups
    - Region Free
    - Update Blocker
    - Homebrew
    - Brick Protection
    - Custom Themes

    - Custom Channel for backup loading
Most of these features are already fully functional, while some are still in development.

It will be modified off SNEEK's latest SVN. It will include a GUI called SneekyControl coded specifically for SneekyChip's purpose; an all in one solution to everything you could want for your Wii. The GUI will be used to update SneekyChip, to install themes, to modify the NAND filesystem, to import backups, and to update SneekyControl itself. I'm fully aware that SNEEK is open source software, but you will NOT be charged for SNEEK itself (it WILL be bundled with the GPLv2, a disclaimer, a link to SNEEK's googlecode, and SneekyChip's own SNEEK-mod SVN).

Keep in mind that SneekyChip will be very cheap, and aimed at users with the "too lazy to do it" mindset. If you're too lazy to softmod, and too lazy to hardmod, this will be your solution. SneekyChip is essentially a cross between a softmod and a hardmod. You are paying for the SD card**, the GUI, the support for SneekyChip, SneekyControl^, the handling/shipping, the software bundling, and the included one-time Wii installer*^. It will also be legal, as SneekyControl will be designed to compile, it comes with NO binaries. It will compile automatically, without any input except a one-time "45e" (you know, the common key). As new revisions are commited to the SVN, SneekyControl will compile them immediately and place them onto SneekyChip.

Advantages over a self-compile of SNEEK:
    - Easy to use GUI
    - Feature filled GUI
    - Self-updating GUI
    - Self-updating compiles
    - Custom Themes
    - Included System Menu Emulation
    - Several boot options
    - Guaranteed SD card compatibility
    - No hassles compile & install
    - Guaranteed support

Out of the box it will only require a one-time compile on your Windows PC and a one-time install on your Wii (total time less than 5 minutes), and will be universal to all Wii's. All SneekyChip's will use at least class 4 SD cards (4MB/s) for read/write speeds as fast as, or faster than, the NAND.

Accepting all feedback and feature requests, I want this to essentially become an all-in-one 'softchip'.

    * Similar to priiloader, the installer moves the SystemMenu and replaces it with it's own launcher. If the required files on the SD card are not found, it boots your SystemMenu normally. Brick risk the same as priiloader/bootmii (virtually NONE).

**If enough orders are placed at release, the purchase price may actually be lower than the price of the SD card SneekyChip ships with.
^ The installer and SneekyControl will be closed source, and distributing them will be illegal. SneekyControl will have a single-user license, obtaining another for replacement (in case of formatting or HD crash) will be free.

This thread wasn't aimed towards selling the product (as there is nothing for sale yet!), it was more towards gauging interest and obtaining feedback. Hopefully this falls within the boundaries of the rules. Once this product nears completion, I'll be sure to contact the appropriate staff before posting any direct advertisements. Thank you for directing me to the commercial guidelines, and thanks for the support.

Gonna keep an eye out for this one then...Need to remove my POS Argon(if it not is wonderful and Sneeky works without removing that crap!)

I guess it will be region free even with system update 4.2?

EDIT: I hope this is not an April's joke:P

am i the only one thinking "OMG someone is simply charging for a softmod?" Unless im reading this wrong its simply a way to make money from selling a softmod, regardless of all the "extras" being claimed. "You are paying for the SD card**, the GUI, the support for SneekyChip, SneekyControl^, the handling/shipping, the software bundling, and the included one-time Wii installer*^" So, is there a physical, hardmod part to this, or not?

As stated in the first post, it's a lot safer than your own softmod, it has extra features normal softmods don't, and it's features extend hardmods. It functions the same way soldered hardmods do, only without the soldering. If you wish to have less features with more difficulty installing, go ahead and buy yourself a soldered hardmod. SneekyChip also extends past most Solderless chip's features, as it has drive emulation without any extra bays or attachments, and the bundled GUI does just about everything for you. No need to spend hours configuring or installing to achieve the same or lesser results.

They should be compatible, but they should be completely unneeded. SneekyChip aims to be the only thing you'll need to unlock your Wii's potential. If you find something another modchip that has a feature SneekyChip doesn't have, we'll try and add the feature.
