    Hard mod Wii, can i play online?

    Ok, so i have a hard mod + soft mod wii, with v3.4U , now i dont want it to update, and i wanna know if i can go online and play normally without being banned or bricked.

    i would like for sure answers, and if there are solutions please answer

    Yes you can. Avoid updates though.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    i heard that the 3.4 will automatically update, is that true? And if it is, how i can not let it update?

    It doesn't. I'm on 4.0 and technically would get the same problem as you.

    When you set up a wifi connection it asks you if you wish to update, just say no. If a game asks you to update when choosing multiplayer let us know. Games run under IOS so there's no reason ever to update System Menu.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    And he can always softmod/safe update to 4.1 and then install Priiloader to enable hacks (block disc-based updates, and online updates) as an option...

    Yeah, I think priiloader is must for any softmod. Then you don't have to worry about updates which is nice if you are not the only one playing your wii.

    what if i want to keep my wii on 3.4? i just dont want any updates, cuz all the games work just fine, all i want to do is play online without anything in my wii changing

    then you will have to do without priiloader and the brick recovery functionality that comes with it. You can also scrubb the update partitions from the games with wii scrubber before you burn them.

    so basically i just go online, and it wont automatically update or anything right? or remove my wii brew channel? it'll ask me if i want to, and i can just say no?
