    A few questions/concerns before I start..

    Hello All:

I recently picked up a Wii for the second time, I sold my first one because there weren't really any games coming out for it, so I picked up another one yesterday (9/9/08) at a Gamestop. It has serial number LU59415***. I have quite a few questions before I begin, and I hope you all can help. I have been doing some reading, but I still have a few things of question/concern:

    1. I checked my serial number and it says I have a 100% chance of having the chipset of GC2-D2E. I realize that this is a brand new Wii and that my options are kind of limited. I am highly interested in the D2E D2PRO9 V3 chipset with the presoldered Wii-Clip. I do not have any interest or intent in putting a soldering iron any where within ten feet of my Wii. It is just something that I don't think I want to risk. However I have been reading that these clips are not that great. What do you guys think of this?

    2. I have not been able to find any specifications for this mod chip. I did try google but nothing really relevant comes up. Is there any thing that I should know of? Bascially I want to know that this is the best mod chip I can buy. I also want to make sure whatever modchip I get, it is solderless. Money isn't really a concern as long as it isn't something rediculous. I assume this can pretty much handle anything that I throw at it?

    3. I have been having issues finding out about modchips and Nintendo. I modded an old Xbox back in the day and of course, couldn't get on Xbox Live with the modchip turned on. How does this work with the Wii and playing games online? Do the modchips get turned on and off or does Nintendo just not detect mod chips?

    4. Should I be worried if Nintendo releases a update that it will brick/disable/destroy my Wii/modchip?

Thank you all for taking the time to read and respond to this.

i would go with the d2sun v1.31 ..its cheap and does the job with no soldering required at all. some of the d2pro9 v3 on d2e require 1 wire to be soldered...there is also a wasabi 3 but that requires one wire to be soldered. others might say they have a complete solderless solution for wasabi but thats for the fake wasabi2 with v10 clip.

hmm, i really like your website, i think i still want to get the d2pro9 just because i like having the best. i looked at that one point that i may have to solder and it doesnt look too bad. also i think i read that no customer has ever had to solder it. i think i am going to buy the d2pro9 from you soon. what about the mod chip and wiiconnect?

Actually we have a 100% solderless wasabi2 (authentic) and a custom wiiclip not listed on wiiclip site but its not a fake wiiclip either.

The D2PRO9 works very well though as well, but sometimes there are some issues and that should be sorted in the next couple weeks.
