d2ckey and wiicliip - Wiihacks

ok i have from what i gathered from modder mans post a d2c 1st version chipset it doesnt have a stamp and it has serials under the g2c-d2c chip.
i have a d2ckey and wiicliip (2 of them) i turn on the console it lights up red/blue and then when i play originals its blue. when i put a back up in nothing
tried all different media with all good iso backups.i used the same backups when i had the wiikey.what am i doing wrong here both chips and wiiclips are having the same result is it possible that i have a g2cd2c version 2?

Sounds like you need to short JP1 is it shorted?
If yes.. then it's the Wii-Clip..
but since your originals are working fine.. sounds like jp1 has been already shorted..
Sounds like your Clips are bad man

that's sucks..

I wouldn't say the wii-clip is fake so quickly.

Check the pins on the underside of the wii-clip and see if they're bent. You may have bent them installing them improperly. does the yellow strip on the DVD drive start with "AMX" (or "*MX")? if so then it's a D2C2

pictures of the drive, the chip, and the pins of the wii-clip will help also

Since you already have the mod chip.. i would install it and charge labor only..
if interested.. let me know.. thanx.. oh.. and shipping would only cost $15. so..
I say it's a good deal.. at least u wouldnt have to worry anymore about it coming off..
