d2pro9 v2 solderless
ive installed the d2pro9 v2 solderless correctlly - got the red and blue flash. But once the chip is in, it will not accpet the disc, no drive activity.
I have a dms chipset
The clk is shorted.
NEED HELP CHEERS!

Did you test it while you had the Wii open? It could be that the chip migh have got moved when you put it back together.

yes tested while open.
I removed the chip, the wii then accepted all disks.
When the chip is in There seems to be no drive acitivity at all, it simply doesnt accept any disks.
I am sure that its installed correctly, as the red and blue lights quickly flash.

you have a DMS chipset...you are NOT supposed to short the CK ....CK is only for d2c/d2c2 and d2e chipset

so do i only have to remove the solder on the clk point?
And then it will work, right?

That is correct, you need to get that gap back by removing the solder on the CLK Jumper.

I ordered myne for a dms and they said it needs clk shorted for dms !
