D2Pro / Wiikey

Ok well heres the situation
I have d2pro solderless and unfortunately i'm going to have to solder the 'j' wire

Now my cousin needs a modchip aswell and he has dms also like me
Should he get a d2pro like me or wiikey

Or another situation : should i give him my solderless d2pro and hope he dont need to solder and then me get one which doesnt require j wire thing like wiikey ?

thanks

if you have a dms board then you can use the wiikey solderless..we will have those in stock on tuesday for a very low price..this will require no extra soldering period. the J wire soldering is only if u you have a d2c/d2c2 or d2e board

Yeah that problem only effects d2c wiis. if you gave your solderless pro9 to your cousin, it would clip on fine and work straight up.

But i have DMS and it doesnt work on myne .
And it has been tested in a workshop and it does work.
So i think my wii (DMS) still needs J soldering
Its not a drive clicking problem, its a constant red light

You might want to try removing the solder from the CLK Jumper as suggested by GModz in the other thread since you have a DMS Wii.
