How can i find out what chip i have?

How can I find out what chip I have in my Wii without taking it apart?

I had it chipped about 1-2 years ago. Im noticing I cant play any new games now. Its not giving me a read disc error. It just wont let me play.

Am I missing just an update? Please help

    2 options.

    1) Burn every single disc, from every single drive chip manufacturer and attempt to boot.

    2) Ask Superman around of an evening and ask him to use his X-Ray vision.

Seriously just open it up, the warranty is voided anyway and it's so easy to do.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
