question about d2ckey and regions

i have one of those d2ckeys with a wiiclip, been working fine. i just have a question, more of a clarification...i know that on the modchip is must be soldered to allow for different regions correct?
what would be the default? ntsc only?

NTSC only would require no bridging of points 1 or 2. If you want region free and your wii is NTSC, the bridge point 1.
