Removing an old Mod Chip to put a new one in...

I bought a pre-modded Wii about 1 year ago in Hong Kong. The Wii was working fine but now i find that it is unable to play most of the new games being released like Smash Bros and Mario Galaxy.

I opened it up the other day and found that it has some cheap mod chip called "WeBlue +".

Im thinking about ordering a new modchip Like the D2Pro or Wii Key so that i can play all the new games without a problem.

Can someone please tell me will it be very difficult to remove the old modchip? Can i just carefully pull it out? Or will i need some special tools to remove the solder?

If its soldered to the Wii then you should get someone with soldering expertise to unsolder it, otherwise you could damage the wii if you just pulled it out.

if you get a wiikey and see if the points match the points that are soldered to the wii then ll you will have to do is remove the modchip solder points on the modchip and add the new chip if you get what i mean
