I Extremely Highly Recommend That you buy a tri wing, and open up your wii. So you can tell what model it is, the serial tracker is not too good at all.

Yes you need the wii-clip for no soldering.
Depends what type of mod chip you want. D2pro9 is really good i hear, the price is a little below 100$, depends what one you buy.
1 LAST THING.... I also Extremely Highly Recommend That you just have someone solder it for you. The last wii-clip i bought with d2pro9. Worked once, then i put my wii back together and it stopped working, it hasn't worked since.... I would say, it was a waste of 107$. (Including shipping)
    A trustful site...
Canadamods.ca - Official Distributor for WiiKey, D2CKey, D2Pro, D2PRO9, Wasabi, Wii-Clip etc..... (Powered by CubeCart)
Thats where i bought my mod chip, took 12 days to come. Not including weekends. I ordered it on a sunday.

    So conclusion...

Wii-clip is what you want for no soldering, but you should buy a normal one and have someone solder it for you. You should open your wii, before ordering a mod chip, so you know for sure what mod chip to get. Trust-able site.... If you want d2pro9 with wii-clip, Canadamods.ca - Official Distributor for WiiKey, D2CKey, D2Pro, D2PRO9, Wasabi, Wii-Clip etc..... (Powered by CubeCart) is the place you want. BUT i still say you should have someone solder a normal mod chip for you. Wii-clips are a joke. Not to be rude, but im just mad because you would figure if you pay 100$ for something, it will work.

My mod chip only worked once, i got to play 1 backup, after playing it for about an hour, i put it back together, and it didnt work. I know i have repeated this, but it just makes me so angry.
