Thread: updated to 3.3 wiifirmware..

So i updated it since i hadnt done so since i bought it when they first came out and my mod chip seemed to stop working. No original or backup games were being read by the wii and in a panic i dissassembled the wii and took out the mod chip. It started working so i put the modchip back in and everything was back to normal. So is this going to happen everytime i update the wii firmware or was it a glitch? edit: i have the d2cpro with wiiclip.

your clip might have been loose or somthing, you do not have to redo the install just because there is a update
